- David Marchant is an American actor, director, producer, military veteran, and former police officer from Dorchester in Boston, Massachusetts.
Immediately after graduating high school, David enlisted in the U.S. Air Force, serving as a Security Forces Military Policeman. After only eighteen months of service, he was hand-selected as an elite member of the Presidential Airlift Group. In this role, he was responsible for the direct protection and escort of President George W. Bush and Air Force One at Andrews Air Force Base. David separated from the military after serving six years on active duty, which included his presidential assignment and a one-year deployment to Iraq and Afghanistan.
Transitioning back to civilian life, David joined the Boston Police Department, where he became a highly decorated and respected officer. He was awarded a Commissioner’s Commendation from then-Police Commissioner Edward Davis. Notably, David was working on-location during the 2013 Boston Marathon bombing and ultimately played a crucial role in the tracking and capture of the suspects. He later resigned from the department in 2015 to pursue his passion of acting & filmmaking.
