- A writer/director from Ontario, Canada, Cameron puts his academic background to practical use in the west coast film scene. Completing a degree in Film Theory at Carleton University gave Cameron a thorough and rigorous background on which he has founded his burgeoning filmmaking career. His extensive understanding of storytelling, film form, and film history give him a unique and varied approach to the filmmaking process. Since setting out on his filmmaking journey in Vancouver, Cameron has served as writer/director on multiple short films and pilot television episodes. His most recent project which he wrote and directed - Shadowlands, took the Leo awards by storm in 2022 garnering multiple nominations and a win, including Best Directing Short Drama, Best Cinematography Short Drama, Best Sound Short Drama, and Best Musical Score Short Drama.
