Maja Weiss was born on 17 April 1965 in Novo Mesto, Yugoslavia [now Slovenia]. She is a director and writer, known for Guardian of the Frontier (2002), Instalacija ljubezni (2007) and Adrian (1998). She has been married to Peter Braatz since 1 July 1993. They have two children.
