Brita Polttila was born on 27 October 1920 in Hamina, Finland. She was a writer, known for Miss Eurooppaa metsästämässä (1955), Kihlaus (1955) and Mainen hellyys (1980). She was married to Arvo Turtiainen and Esko Tapani Autero. She died on 10 November 2008 in Helsinki, Finland.
