Vinay Sandilya is an Indian Writer and Director known for his work in feature films, crime shows, ad films, music videos, and corporate productions. With over 20 years of experience in the entertainment industry, he spent 12 years working as an Assistant Director and Assistant Writer in the Bollywood and Marathi film industry, collaborating with various directors and gaining extensive practical knowledge of filmmaking, storytelling, production management, and creative execution. Originally from Gopalganj district of Bihar, Vinay spent most of his childhood in Palghar, Maharashtra. He also pursued part of his education in Ayodhya, which contributed to his cultural understanding and creative perspective. Currently, he lives and works between Palghar and Mumbai. After completing his 12th standard education, Vinay started his independent journey as a Writer and Director. For the past 8 years, he has been actively working independently in the film and media industry, handling multiple creative and production responsibilities with his own vision and leadership. He gained recognition for his horror-thriller feature film "Pyar Bhari Madhoshiyan," which earned appreciation and helped establish his identity as a filmmaker. Later, he directed the crime show "Jurm Ka Chehra" for Q TV Channel, a show that became widely discussed for its gripping presentation and impactful storytelling style. In 2026, Vinay wrote dialogues for the film "September 21," scheduled for release on 22 May 2026. The film received significant attention in the market and was also showcased at Cannes, bringing further recognition to his contribution as a dialogue writer. Apart from films and television, Vinay has worked on ad films, music videos, corporate videos, TV crime shows, and several independent projects that gained attention for their creativity and execution.
