Biography

Sheri was born and raised in New Jersey, now living in Florida. Several months after relocating to Florida she began working as a model/spokes-model which ultimately opened the doors for her first acting role.

Through acting workshops, networking groups and local agencies she gained a wealth of experience working on several independent films and TV commercials. Ms. Lawrence has since helped produce, direct and promote several productions and thoroughly enjoys working both sides of the camera.

In 2003 she received the Best Actress award for her performance as "Fermentia" in the horror film Filthy (2003) at Florida's 15th Annual Crystal Reel Awards ceremony. She wrote, produced and filmed her first screenplay entitled Contact from Beyond.

In 2006 she has several upcoming feature film productions as well as a made for TV documentary in the works.

In 2007-2008 Ms. Lawrence was hired by Fenton Productions as producer for the multi-award winning documentary entitled Secrets of a Medicine Man. This documentary, to date, has accumulated 12 film festival awards. This highly controversial documentary will also be competing in several upcoming national and international film festivals.

Sheri will be producing an upcoming feature film based on true events for Fenton Productions. She has also been cast in several feature films roles and theatre productions.

Sheri Lawrence's personal interview with author C. Elizabeth Lalla has been published and released in 2005. The book entitled Who's Who of Stage and Screen is available on amazon.com

Was inspired to write, produce and film a screenplay for a short film entitled Contact From Beyond during her mom's struggle with cancer. Listed in the film's closing credits is "in memory of her Dad". Thankfully her mom lived to see the movie before she lost her battle.

When picking a stage name she chose to use her husband's first name for her last name. Sheri "Lawrence"
