Biography

Isaac Scego is an award-winning writer and filmmaker based in Austin, TX. From a very young age in a very small town, he has been telling stories in every medium at his disposal - novels, short stories, teleplays, screenplays, and much more.

Since moving to Austin to pursue his passion, Isaac has written, produced, and directed several award-winning films, with many more in the works. His most notable work revolves around dark comedies, dramas, and thrillers, particularly his short films DROP (2024) and BITE (2025), which has since been adapted as a novelization. He has also contributed his writing skills to several multi-award-winning screenplays including Day Zero (2023) and Basil King: The Goombahs (2023).

Isaac continues his work in the world of storytelling with another project always in the works, using his expertise to bring laughter, joy, and thought to anyone he can.
