Quadruple threat (Writer, Director, Actor, Producer) James Scully grew up in a New York City home with three generations of family, having close relationships with both his grandparents and great-grandparents, being exposed to an invaluable amount of local culture and history. A graduate of Xavier High School in Manhattan, Pratt Institute in Brooklyn, he spent over a decade as an art director working for media companies such as Condé Nast and Hearst before breaking into audio fiction and documentary making.
He produces and hosts Breaking Walls, the documentary podcast on the history of U.S. network radio broadcasting. He's also developed award-winning audio fiction like Burning Gotham.
