Sonia Mekkiou was born on 31 July 1953 in El Milia, Jijel, Algeria. She was an actress, known for Women's Expectations (2001) and Until the Birds Return (2017). She was married to Ahmad Fouad Najm and Sid Ahmed Agoumi. She died on 13 May 2018 in Algeria.
