Biography

Zachary Michael Ignoffo was born on April 23, 1993, in Highland Park, Illinois to Lisa Spitzer and Michael Ignoffo. He is of Italian, as well as Belgian, Russian, and Ukrainian descent. He is related to American actor John Garfield. Zack is known for his role on HBO's "Julia" (2022), the Cannes-featured virtual reality short "Nothing is Safe" (2022), and the Passionflix series "The Black Dagger Brotherhood" (2025). Zack has crew credits in Roadhouse (2024), Confess, Fletch (2022), and George Clooney's The Tender Bar (2021).

Growing up, Zack competed in international martial arts tournaments under Master S. Chung and won a silver medal in the Jr. Olympics in 2000. Zack was first introduced to the entertainment industry at a young age, playing a gun-wielding zombie in the B-movie horror flick, Fast Zombies with Guns (2009). Later, he attended Indiana University Bloomington, passed the highest exam for Chinese fluency (HSK 6), and worked as a Mandarin translator in Shanghai, while modeling for top fashion brands and agencies across Asia. Upon his return to the USA, Zack studied Method Acting with legendary teacher Geoffrey Horne at the Lee Strasberg Theater and Film Institute and starred in several Shakespeare productions directed by Horne and fellow Strasberg alum, Alec Baldwin.
