- Fadhel Jaziri was born in 1948 in Tunis, French protectorate of Tunisia. He was a director and writer, known for Guirra (2019), Thirty (2008) and Eclipses (2016). He died on August 11, 2025 in Tunisia.
- Father had a bookshop in the neighborhood of Bab Souika.
- In 1972,he co-founded the theatrical group of Gafsa known in French as "Théâtre du Sud". The team included Tunisia's most recognized theater stars such as Fadhel Jaibi, Raja Farhat, Jalila Baccar and Mohamed Driss.
- A member of the Economic and Social Commission of Nidaa Tounes, he announced his resignation from the party on 15 January 2016.
- Received a scholarship to study in London along with a number of other promising young Tunisians.
- His family ran a fez-making business.
