This year marks the 15th anniversary of Berlin-based label "Esther Perbandt." Founder and namesake, Esther Perbandt was born in Berlin, toughened-up in Moscow, and polished in Paris. Not only a designer, but also a visionary, performer, and master of ceremonies. Her creative universe revolves around a vision of modern personality. The resulting aesthetic is a deconstructed silhouette of stark contrasts and sophisticated fabric choices. Esther Perbandt views her fashion as an act of post-feminism irrespective of gender with personality, autonomy, and individuality at the center of her style. Esther Perbandt's collections are idiosyncratic, modern, and authentic while being sensitive, thoroughly researched, and made from exquisite materials. The androgynous silhouette is deconstructed and reframed with classical menswear details. "Esther Perbandt" represents Berlin design at its best, as the label confidently combines smart independence with a professional sense of internationality. Future-facing technology, such as 3D printing and CNC milling, meets traditional leather craft processes, resulting in shapes that are inspired by the feeling that one could indeed fly to the moon.
