Tatsat Pandey

Tatsat Pandey is the co-writer of Ghar Waapsi, one of the most beloved Indian web series of 2022, currently streaming on Disney+ Hotstar. The show earned him a prestigious Filmfare nomination for Best Screenplay and Best Dialogue, cementing his place as a distinctive new voice in long-form storytelling. Hailing from Indore, Tatsat Pandey began his professional journey as a senior analyst at an IT company after earning his MBA from IIM Indore in 2016. His life took a creative turn in 2017 when he discovered his passion for storytelling during the one-year Creative Writing programme at MICA, Ahmedabad. Tatsat began his writing career at Culture Machine, a digital production company in Mumbai, where he created YouTube sketches and branded short-form content for popular channels like Being Indian (a comedy sketch and vox pop platform) and Blush (focused on women's fashion and lifestyle). His versatility as a writer is evident in his work on an animated show for Jambo (by Pocket Aces), and in developing two acclaimed series for Amazon MiniTV - Half CA and Crushed Season 2 - both of which earned him OTT Filmfare nominations. Tatsat is currently working on the Indian adaptation of a Korean film with Kross Pictures, and is developing a dark thriller feature for Maddock Films - an adaptation of an international bestselling novel - with director Ruchir Arun. He is also collaborating with filmmaker Aanand L. Rai (Colour Yellow Productions) on a rom-com series. Tatsat enjoys writing thrillers, mysteries, and investigative dramas, and is passionate about exploring these genres further. His upcoming projects include the second season of Netflix's Maamla Legal Hai, and a comedy series for Amazon Prime Video, produced by Posham Pa.
