Zakiah Shana Dumansky

Zakiah Shana Dumansky is a Jewish Actress from Vancouver, BC. She is going on her 13th year in acting, is a graduate of the Langara Film Arts program and has done over 25 short films. Zakiah is an actress living with Tourette Syndrome, and although it has not made her journey easy, she believes that by miracle it is what grounds her so deeply in the work. Through Acting she is set free of her physical tension, and becomes open to a well of emotional accessibility. Zakiah is thrilled to have started her journey in directing, and is eager to continue her work in Shameless Hussy's one woman show "Dissolve", writing and story-telling in every way.
