Nemo(XII)

Nemo Mettler, known mononymously as Nemo, is a Swiss rapper, singer and musician who plays the violin, the piano and the drums. In November 2023, Mettler came out as non-binary in an article in the "SonntagsZeitung". In this article, Mettler also stated that they preferred to be referred to by their given name instead of pronouns in German, while also using the gender-neutral they/them in English. Nemo's 2015 EP "Clownfisch" reached number 95 in the Swiss charts. Their 2017 single "Du" reached number 4 in Switzerland. On the second season of The Masked Singer Switzerland in 2021/2022, Nemo was unmasked as a panda and finished in fifth place. On 29 February 2024, Nemo was announced as the Swiss representative in the Eurovision Song Contest 2024 with the song "The Code" and won the final on 11 May 2024 with 591 points.
