Stephen Prater is a Southern California native who started off doing photography to get a strong foundation in composition. He learned by shooting fashion, weddings, proms, portraits, product shots, graduations, concerts, and more. He went to school at San Bernardino Valley College in San Bernardino, CA. There he got his degree in Film, Television, and Electronic Media. He has worked on major to small productions as a production assistant, Assistant Camera, and Camera Operator. He has worked on several film sets which inspired him to make his first film, "Grudge Match: The Healing Power of Forgiveness".
