Gerasimos Gennatas

Gerasimos Gennatas is a Greek actor and director known for his dynamic presence in theatre, television, and film. A graduate of the Veaki Drama School (1991), he also completed studies in Biology at the National and Kapodistrian University of Athens before fully dedicating himself to acting. He has collaborated with numerous Municipal and State Theatres across Greece, as well as major Athenian companies, building a strong reputation on stage. He became widely recognized for his role as Panagiotis Zygouras in the popular television series Eisai to tairi mou! (2001), which aired on Mega Channel and remains one of Greece's most beloved TV comedies. In 1999, he received the Greek Critics Association Award for his performance as Truffaldino in Servant of Two Masters by Carlo Goldoni. As a director, he staged Veterans - Olympic Performances on the Road during the Athens 2004 Olympic Games and later directed 7 Richter at Theatre of the New World. He has also contributed to theatre education through workshops and municipal theatre initiatives.
