Sechs Kies

Sechs Kies is a famous South Korean male idol group that was formed in 1997. They released their first solo album titled School Song and they also had their first single with the same title.
Because of their promotional activities, they were easily recognized by the public and they became 1997's Rookie Idol Group of the Year. The group became widely known in Korea and they have always been compared to as a rival of the other famous South Korean idol groups like Shinhwa and H.O.T.
They continued their promotion until 1998, having a nationwide tour and a film of their own because of their popularity. The group was pretty much active until 1999, and they also won numerous awards.
The group was under the management of Daesung Entertainment until its disbandment in 2000. At that time, the group decided to part ways to make up a solo career for each of the members
Sechs Kies got reunited again in 2016, and they are now under the management of the famous Korean entertainment label, YG Entertainment.
