Barbara Orbison was born on January 10, 1950 in Bielefeld, North Rhine-Westphalia, Germany. She was a producer, known for Roy Orbison: I Drove All Night (1992), Forbidden Apple (2018) and Roy Orbison Live in Texas (1986). She was married to Roy Orbison. She died on December 6, 2011 in Los Angeles, California, USA.

She died on the 23rd anniversary of her husband Roy Orbison's death. She was only 18 years old when she met her husband at a British nightclub in 1968.

She is survived by her sons, Roy Orbison Jr., Wesley Orbison and Alexander Orbison.

Following her death, she was interred with her husband Roy Orbison at Westwood Village Memorial Park Cemetery in Los Angeles, California.
