- In 2023, he participated in the 15th edition of the reality show A Fazenda (2009), being the second eliminated contestant of the season.
- Darlan had a difficult childhood in Morro do Vidigal. In interviews, he revealed that his father and uncles were involved in crime, but that he never got involved, crediting theater for leading him down a different path. He began acting in theater at age 9.
