Biography

Born in Rochester, New York, Michael Saquella has been entertaining for over 45 years. Aside from his versatile acting, he has been influential in all aspects of the entertainment industry, ranging from film to live entertainment. Michael has recently starred in 4 movies: "The Possession of Lucifer", "El Coyote". "Dream Round', "Carolina's Calling", and "Dream Round". Michael is currently on the successful mob series "Conversation with a Mobster" streaming on Amazon Prime, Tubi, and Plex. Michael has two new films in prep and a new series. "Ice Cubes for Eskimos"" and "Just Passing Through" filming in 2026. Michael started his film career in Steven Spielberg's 1941, had a small part, and then worked as a stand-in and actor on Kurt Russell's "Used Cars". And has now produced, directed, written, and starred in over 40 films. Michael is a blues singer/performer/comedian and puts on a spectacular show inspired by his stage credits which started with standup comedy for opening acts such as The Charo, Tony Bennett and Raquel Welch to impersonating John Belushi in a Blues Brothers act for "Legends In Concert" and "Legendary Superstars" he has performed all over the world for over thirty years. Most recently, his high rock and blues live stage show "New York Blues".

In 1987, he tested for the role of Kyle McRae in the brutal horror film Hellbound: Hellraiser 2. He was cast but an injury sustained in a Jiu-Jitsu match left him out of the film. The role was then given to Canadian actor William Hope.

Michael was cast to play John Belushi in the movie Wired. The first attempt to make the film did not happen which was being co-produced by Ted Swanson. Wired came from a book written by Bob Woodward. The film was shut down from family lawsuits and came back to life 2 years later and actor Michael Chiklis won the roll which then sent career went through the roof.

The smell of the grease paint and the roar of the crowd - nothing else in life even comes close!
