Biography

Julie Stell (aka J.A DellaRipa) is an award-winning filmmaker based in Los Angeles. A native of the San Fernando Valley, she earned her degree in Radio-TV-Film from CSUN. Her short Another Saturday had a successful festival run including a win for Best of the Festival at the Los Angeles CineFest. She also won The Film Fund Logline Competition with her documentary logline titled Measured Time exploring family heritage, legacy, and craftsmanship. In addition to filmmaking, she works as an IATSE Local 884 licensed Studio Teacher. On set, she advocates for and oversees the education and welfare of young performers. She is passionate about character driven stories and continues to develop compelling original projects for the screen.
