Sally Edwards is a Birmingham-based freelance Junior Editor with experience across television, corporate video, and feature film productions, including Ready Player One. Her post-production roles have ranged from edit assistant to technical operator, contributing to factual and drama programs such as Maddie's Do You Know? (CBeebies), Doctors, Father Brown, Sister Boniface Mysteries, The Break, and Shakespeare & Hathaway (BBC), and most recently, Building Monaco's Superhomes (Channel 4). She also served as a Netball Video Playback Operator at the 2022 Commonwealth Games in Birmingham.
During her time at the BBC, she developed her editing skills by creating social media content for Doctors, including trailers, music videos, interviews, and behind-the-scenes features. Proficient in Avid Media Composer, she edited ten episodes of Doctors Series 24 and has recently worked as an offline editor in Adobe Premiere Pro on Channel 4's Building Britain's Superhomes Series 2. Her short film work includes Fortune Cookie, which was nominated for Best Short Film at the 2021 Birmingham Film Festival, and Reality, both edited and colour graded by Sally.
Sally is dedicated to ongoing professional development and seeks opportunities to expand her expertise as a freelance junior editor, with the goal of evolving into her dream role as an offline editor.
