Shamar Jay Rice (He/Him) is a bold, multidisciplinary actor and dancer from Baltimore, Maryland, whose work is rooted in resilience, raw authenticity, and artistic transformation. His performances are dynamic, deeply grounded, and impossible to box in.

He began performing at age five with his family’s dance crew, The Baltimore Show Stoppers, immersing himself in the city's street and club dance culture before competing on high-stakes stages like the King of Baltimore battles and Red Bull: Dance Your Style. After a severe meniscus injury shifted his path, Shamar channeled his physical expressiveness into acting, unlocking a profound calling as a dramatic storyteller.

Now based in Los Angeles, Shamar is represented by Senior Manager/Producer Sean Mik'ael Butler at Citizen Skull Management and Agent/CEO Rebecca Ek at Exclusive Artists Agency. His screen credits include a striking performance in HBO Max's Perry Mason.
