Biography

Emanuel Pavon

Biography

  • Emanuel Pavon is a Croatian cellist, recording artist, and session musician based in Zagreb. Born in Bjelovar in 1996, he began studying cello at the age of six. Throughout his education, he distinguished himself by winning several national competitions, both as a soloist and as a member of chamber ensembles.

He graduated from the Academy of Music in Zagreb in 2019 under the mentorship of Professor Monika Leskovar, one of Croatia leading cellists. That same year, he appeared as a soloist with the Zagreb Philharmonic Orchestra at the Vatroslav Lisinski Concert Hall, performing Bohuslav Martinu Cello Concerto. His orchestral career began shortly thereafter with a full-time position in the Zagreb Philharmonic, where he continues to perform today.

In 2017, he performed at the Eurovision Song Contest in Kyiv as part of Jacques Houdek team for the Croatian entry My Friend, gaining international exposure early in his career.

Alongside his classical performance work, Pavon has developed a parallel path as a remote session cellist and recording artist. Since 2020, he has collaborated with international composers, producers, and artists on popular music, film scores, television soundtracks, video game music, and a wide range of contemporary genres.

Since 2023, he has been a featured session cellist with Musiversal, a global platform connecting world class musicians with creators in real time. His work has reached clients across continents, contributing to projects ranging from intimate acoustic scores to large-scale cinematic productions.

Known for his expressive tone, musical sensitivity, and technical precision, Emanuel brings both classical training and modern versatility to every project, bridging the gap between traditional performance and contemporary production.
