- I think secretly every actor wants to direct and produce, but I made a conscious decision when I was in college to understand the "business" of "show business." I knew that ultimately I wanted to create and produce projects as well, and you have to understand the business side of entertainment to do that.
- Asking an actor to pick their favorite project is like asking a parent to pick their favorite child...you know they have one, but there's no way they're answering that question! No, the truth is, there's just no way to pick, they are all relevant to where you are in your life at that time, and in that moment.
- It took me awhile to get acclimated to life in LA as an actor. I would see castings for "Midwestern types" and I would show up to the audition. Everyone was looking at me like I was crazy. They had this look on their faces of, "...we meant Midwestern, not Middle Eastern, what is he doing here?
