Yaman Antepli is a Syrian director and screenwriter who gained early recognition in the media as one of the youngest Syrian filmmakers. His early short films explored Syrian social and political realities through bold personal storytelling.
In 2025, he released his first mainstream project, the limited drama series More Than a Day, a five-episode production streaming on digital platforms. The series marked his transition from independent short films to narrative television, portraying post-war Syrian family life with emotional and psychological depth.
Antepli is the founder of Darmisk Studios in Istanbul and began establishing a sister production space in Syria in 2025, expanding his creative work across both countries. His artistic vision blends the visual minimalism of Iranian cinema with the narrative intensity of American television, drawing inspiration from Abbas Kiarostami, Asghar Farhadi, Vince Gilligan, and Syrian Filmmaker such as Omar Amiralay.
In addition to his film work, Antepli has created creative commercials in the Gulf region, earning wide acclaim for their innovative concepts and visual storytelling.
