Jason Butler Rote is a writer known for Dexter's Laboratory (1996), The Powerpuff Girls (1998), and What a Cartoon! (1995) --- Jason grew up in Tempe, Arizona. After high school, he moved to Los Angeles for college, graduating from the Film Department of the affordable California State Univ, Northridge -- Following a few low level jobs in the tv/film biz he landed at Hanna-Barbera cartoon studios in yet another low level job. This was just before the studio was being retooled into Cartoon Network Studios - and after a couple years, thanks to the tried and true combo of Right Place, Right Time, and Right Talent, his professional, award-winning writing and production-ing career was born.
