  • Writer/director of multiple shorts, plays, music videos and two feature films, 'The Boys' (85min), funded by the Greek Film Centre and premiered at Thessaloniki International Film Festival, and the indie 'Marriage'(101 min) which was shown at many festivals around the world and has gathered multiple awards. Her latest short 'Fire Ants', made entirely in lock-down, premiered at the Oscar and Bafta qualifying Rhode Island International film festival and is currently on the festival circuit.

    Kat's play-film Cockroach Waltz, was shown at Greenwich Playhouse and her latest multimedia play 'The Libertines' was produced by and shown at the Marlowe Theatre, currently being developed as an immersive experience with the Arts Council. Her TV series "bOLD' - an 8 episode comedy/drama is being developed with Bafta-winning Bryncoed with Joanna Lumley, Simon Callow, Hugh Quarshie, Tim Bentinck and Jane Asher attached to star. Her screenplay 'The secret Mind of Indy Carter' was long-listed at BBC Writers Room in 2018 and is in development with Iris Productions and Inventome.

    Kat is passionate about creating stories that are thought-provoking, multi-layered, yet enjoyable and accessible. She often uses allegory to reflect on current events, and whether it is drama or comedy, her language is distinctive and unapologetic. She has studied Journalism and Psychology at Northeastern University and Film in Denmark and New York. She's been awarded scholarships from the Greek Ministry of Culture and Greek Film Centre, bursaries from NYFA and ARHB and has a Masters of Arts in Drama from UKC.

    She is the founder and co-director of Inventome Films, a company specializing in production with in-house post facilities & VFX, taking on projects from narrative to theatre, AR, VR, design, development and R&D. Brands Inventome have worked with and for include: New Line Cinema, BBC, Sony, Apple, The Foundry, RED, Activision, Warner Bros, Rank, Adobe, Virgin, GFC.
