Shomu Mukherjee was born on 19 June 1943 in Jamshedpur, Bihar Province, British India. Shomu was a writer and producer, known for Pathar Ke Insan (1990), Fiffty Fiffty (1981) and Lover Boy (1985). Shomu was married to Tanuja Samarth. Shomu died on 10 April 2008 in Mumbai, Maharashtra, India.
