Nergis Mogol

Nergis Mogol, whose real name was Anahit Simonyan, was a Turkish-born stage dancer and film actress known for her stage dances and acting during the Yesilçam era of the 1940s and 1950s. She was one of the pioneering and popular non-Muslim artists of the time, performing oriental/song dances on stage. Her Career and Films: She was one of the figures who brought oriental dance from the stage to the cinema in the early days of Yeşilçam. She acted in various films between 1948 and 1955.
