After studying with Kevin Jerome Everson at the University of Virginia, Josh was selected by master filmmaker Béla Tarr to participate in his directing intensive, where Béla produced his short, ‘Coda’. He is in post-production on his debut feature.
Josh has produced a range of independent feature films, including five alone in 2025. He just wrapped TRANSCENDENT, starring Cat Cohen, Heléne Yorke, Rebecca Henderson, and Ben Sinclair as well as OLD SOUL, starring Catherine Curtin, Alysia Reiner, Michael Esper, Gus Birney, and Ben Gust.
His films have screened and participated in labs around the world, including at the Tribeca Film Festival, Millennium Film Workshop, DirectorNotes, Venice Final Cut Lab, Gotham Project Market, and Sarajevo CineLink Days, among others.
