  • Five-time BDO World Darts Champion, winning the title in 1980, 1981, 1984, 1985, and 1986. . Five-time World Masters Champion, winning in 1977, 1979, 1981, 1983, and 1984. . Four-time WDF World Cup singles champion (1983, 1985, 1987, 1989). . Two-time winner of the News of the World Darts Championship in 1983 and 1984. . Ranked world number one by the World Darts Federation a record five times between 1980 and 1990. . Won a total of 22 WDF and BDO major titles, 65 individual career titles, and 15 titles in team events, for a total of 80 overall career titles. . Other notable victories include British Open, Swedish Open (three times each), and North American Open (four times). . He also hosted the first two episodes of the darts-themed ITV game show Bullseye and was influential in popularizing the sport.
