Zoya Boguslavskaya was born on 16 April 1924 in Moscow, Russia. She was married to Andrey Voznesenskiy. She died on 14 May 2026 in Peredelkino, Moscow, Russia.
She also served as an editor for the Sixth Creative Association of Writers and Filmmakers at the Mosfilm Studio and as executive secretary of the literature section of the Committee for Lenin and State Prizes of the USSR in Literature, Art, and Architecture under the Council of Ministers of the USSR .
