Jonathan Fisher is an accomplished entertainment attorney who brings experience from all sides of the industry, having served as a studio attorney, in-house counsel, and law firm practitioner. Jonathan obtained his Juris Doctorate from Quinnipiac University School of Law, where he earned honors in his Intellectual Property Law concentration. He holds a Bachelor of Arts from Florida State University and is a proud former member of the Marching Chiefs collegiate marching band.
Prior to founding Fisher Legal Arts, he worked as a Senior Associate for over six years at Donaldson Callif Perez, LLP, where he advised independent filmmakers and creatives through all stages of production -- from development and rights acquisition to clearance and distribution. His additional legal experience includes servicing ESPN’s legal department, as well as in-house counsel at Beachbody (BODi), overseeing legal aspects of their premium digital content.
Admitted to the California State Bar, Jonathan is a member of both the Los Angeles County Bar Association and the Beverly Hills Bar Association. He has also guest lectured entertainment law classes at UCLA and Chapman University. Beyond his legal practice, he is deeply committed to community service, supporting organizations like Habitat for Humanity, Upward Bound House, People Assisting the Homeless (PATH), and Kids in Need of Defense (KIND).
Jonathan is driven by a lifelong devotion to the craft of storytelling, and has dedicated his career to the support and protection of that creative expression.
