Biography

Luisa Muraro was born on June 14, 1940 in Montecchio Maggiore, Veneto, Italy. She died on June 13, 2026 in Milan, Lombardy, Italy.

Graduated in philosophy at the Catholic University of Milan and in the seventies left her academic career to teach in compulsory school.

In 1975, she founded the Libreria delle Donne in Milan.

One of the founders of the Women's Library in Milan.
