Biography

Cullen Brooks, MPSE is a Supervising Sound Editor and Re-Recording Mixer, and the founder/CEO of MrBrooksMixing LLC, a Detroit-based boutique audio post-production studio specializing in Dolby Atmos for film and television. He holds 98 audio post-production credits, with work streaming on Tubi, Peacock, Amazon Prime Video, and NBC/Universal: including South West High (Same Page Entertainment / 1919 Distribution) and the Plush Productions series The Dirty D, The Dirty A, and The Dirty C. Brooks provides a single accountable chain across dialogue editing, sound design, Foley, and the final Atmos Re-recording mix, delivered to streaming and broadcast spec from a 5.1 near-field editorial suite and a 7.1.4 Dolby Atmos dubbing stage. His career began as a studio engineer at Shady/Aftermath/Interscope on major-label projects including Slaughterhouse's Welcome To: Our House. He is a member of the Motion Picture Sound Editors (MPSE) and the Recording Academy (Class of 2026).
