Biography

Conway Savage was born on July 27, 1960. He was an actor, known for Nick Cave & The Bad Seeds: Loverman (1994), Nick Cave & The Bad Seeds: I Had a Dream, Joe (1992) and Nick Cave & The Bad Seeds: Jack the Ripper (1992). He died on September 2, 2018 in Australia.

In 2017 Savage underwent medical treatment for a brain tumour. He died, aged 58, in September 2018.

He was a pianist, organist, and back-up vocalist with Nick Cave & The Bad Seeds for 28 years. He also recorded two solo albums, and played in several Australian bands in the 1980s, including Dust on the Bible, the Feral Dinosaurs and the Happy Orphans.
