Biography

Patrick Forian is a French filmmaker, cinematographer, editor and colorist working in fiction, documentary and audiovisual production.

After training in directing at ESRA Paris, he developed a multidisciplinary career across cinema, institutional films, live performance capture and commercial productions. His work combines visual storytelling, lighting design and post-production expertise.

As a director of photography and camera operator, he has collaborated on short films, documentaries, music videos and promotional content, while also working as a director, editor and colorist on independent productions.

His recent work includes the documentary Les enseignements du masque, the short film Les Objets blessés, and cinematography work on L'Échappée Belle, alongside various cultural and professional audiovisual productions.

In addition to his film work, Patrick Forian has a background in theater directing and actor coaching, which informs his approach to staging and performance.
