Ankur Hooda is a self-taught filmmaker, producer, editor & writer from Haryana, India. After spending formative years in his village, he went on to study Advertising in Bombay while interacting with the filmmaking medium parallely. Through his stories, he is primarily interested in exploring humanist themes , spatial identities & anthropology of the rural veiled under the rapidly changing regional landscapes. ‘The Calf Doll’ is his debut feature.
