Daut Zhantassov is a freelance sound editor hailing from Almaty, Kazakhstan. He graduated from the T. Zhurgenov Academy of Arts in Almaty, where he began his journey under the mentorship of a dedicated professor who introduced him to the world of sound engineering and ignited his passion for the craft. Daut's career commenced on set as a production sound mixer. Eager to expand his expertise, he transitioned into post-production, initially focusing on dialogue editing while honing his skills in sound editing. His dedication and versatility led him to excel as both a supervising sound editor and re-recording mixer, contributing significantly to various film projects.
