- Originally auditioned for the role of Bela Talbot on Supernatural (2005). Lauren Cohan eventually got the part. A couple of weeks later, Cindy was called and asked if she would be interested in the role of Lisa Braeden instead.
- She booked her first role, while still in High School, on the Gemini and Emmy award winning teen consumer show "Street Cents".
- She attended the Randolph Academy of the Performing Arts.
- Appeared tied up and gagged on screen in the movie Live Once, Die Twice (2006).
