Anika Zulfikar is a Pakistani-Canadian actor known for her roles in the award-winning short films Desi Standard Time Travel (2022), and majboor-e-mamool (2022). Majboor-e-mamool won the National Film Board of Canada's Best Short Film Award at The Toronto Reel Asian International Film Festival. Anika found her love for acting in her high school theatre, after which she transitioned to film through music videos (Woh Umeed Ki Manzil by Modeltown Music and Zeb Bangash, Addi Sunni by Karan Aujla). Anika is now writing and producing her own short films, and will be making her Pakistani debut in the upcoming Zee5 series Barzakh, starring Fawad Khan and Sanam Saeed.
