Joe Litzinger is a Primetime Emmy-nominated TV producer and an award-winning documentary filmmaker. He currently serves as the Executive Producer on four shows for National Geographic and BBC Studios, including the eight-time Emmy-winning series Life Below Zero. In addition to producing over a thousand hours of nonfiction television programming, he co-directed and EP'ed two multiple award-winning feature length documentary films under his production company banner Interesting.Media. Joe has been a speaker on many industry panels moderated by the International Documentary Association, Deadline, Reel Screen, Variety, KCRW, serves as a documentary mentor at South By Southwest and is on the Governors Advisory Board for the Academy of Television Arts and Sciences. Joe lives in Agoura Hills, California where he nurtures his other passions - his family and the outdoors.
