Kofi Scott Tendai is an LA-based director and screenwriter from Washington, D.C.
He grew up between Washington, D.C.; Philadelphia, Pennsylvania; Hartford, Connecticut; and Silver Spring, Maryland.
Kofi graduated from Howard University with a BA in Radio Television and Film and from American University with an MFA in Film and Electronic Media. He then relocated to Los Angeles, attending UCLA's Extension Directing program and receiving the Phyllis Gebauer Scholarship for Writing.
He is the founder of Born on Friday Media, the parent company of Born on Friday Films under which he releases independent films.
