- Susan Ginnety was born on April 27, 1978 in Ireland. She is known for Riverdance: Live à l'Arena de Genève (2001), Eurovision Song Contest (1956) and Celebrity Jigs 'n' Reels (2006).
- She has been dancing since the age of 6 following a long family tradition dating back to her great grandmother. She studied with the renowned "O'Shea's School of Irish dance". Competing from that early age, she holds Dublin, Leinster, All Ireland and World championship titles.
- At the age of 16, she performed in the interval act of the 1994 Eurovision competition, spawning a world wide Phenomenon, "Riverdance the show". As the phenomenon took to the world so did Susan as she toured extensively throughout 26 countries and 4 continents as Principal Lead dancer. She was dance captain throughout her touring.
- She celebrated her 10 year anniversary and retirement of Riverdance in Radio City Music Hall, New York City, on St. Patricks day 2005.
