Biography

Lea Mclean is a New Zealand-based producer, writer and editor for Miro Productions. Her work spans television, short film and feature filmmaking, with a focus on distinctive screen stories from Aotearoa New Zealand. She is credited on the television drama series End Of The Valley, which received five nominations at the 2025 New Zealand Screen Awards and is now in development for its second season. Lea was also producer and co-writer of the international award-winning short film Rapido, and co-producer of the acclaimed feature film Ka Whawhai Tonu / In the Fire of War which won 2025 New Zealands Best Feature film.
