Biography

Preetha is an award winning Indian Cinematographer. She has shot multiple feature films, documentaries, TV commercials and music videos. She has won several awards including the Karnataka State Award for excellence in cinematography, 2019, the Galatta Wonder Woman Award for Inspiring Pathbreaker in Cinematography, 2019 and The Inspirational Global Woman Award in the field of Cinematography, 2020. She was awarded Best Cinematographer at the JFW Movie Awards for her work on the Tamil feature film 'Vaanam Kottatum' produced by Madras Talkies in 2021.She is part of SICA (South Indian Cinematographer's Association), IWCC (Indian Women's Cinematographer's Collective) and ISC (Indian Society of Cinematographers).
