Biography

Gribouille was born on July 17, 1941 in Lyon, Rhône, France. She is known for Au risque de vous plaire (1966), Gribouille: Dieu, Julie! (1966) and En passant - Chansons im Vorübergehen (1963). She died on January 18, 1968 in Paris, France.

Gérard Bourgeois, Georges Chelon, Jacques Debronckart, Charles Dumont wrote songs for her.

A singer and a songwriter, with a very androgynous appearance and a deep voice.

For a while she practiced drawing art with chalk on the sidewalks of Paris.

Jean Cocteau met her in a parisian cabaret. He then drew a portrait of her and added "To my friend Gribouille".
