Dawn Bursteen is the Founder and Managing Member of Milestone Studios, LLC. The company has the unique ability to source projects, work with talent reps, produce, finance and distribute commercial films worldwide to the marketplace. Milestone creates original content as well as develops film adaptations from fiction and non-fiction novels, articles, autobiographical works, and other source materials. Milestone develops and produces films using private equity financing with budgets ranging from $5M-$15M per title. Genres include action, thrillers, crime, comedy, horror and family. Additionally, Milestone can provide turnkey solutions for filmmakers in various stages of production to secure financing and distribution for their movies. Bursteen is an accomplished entertainment industry professional experienced in both the motion picture and television industries. During her career, Bursteen has held executive positions in marketing and distribution, publicity and promotions at Paramount Pictures, NBC-TV, Sony Studios, and The Samuel Goldwyn Company. Throughout her profession, she has worked on nearly 100 feature films and over 30 TV series. Films include blockbuster and Award-winning movies such as, "Titanic," "Terminator 2: Judgement Day," "Steal Magnolias," "Ghostbusters II," "Glory," "Total Recall" and "Misery." While at NBC-TV, Bursteen oversaw prime-time series publicity for over 30 television shows helping to catapult the Network's ratings. Shows include multi-award-winning and critically acclaimed hit series such as "Friends," "Seinfeld," "Cheers," Frasier" and "ER." Bursteen has a vast amount of experience working with industry professionals in development and production, agencies, talent reps as well as managing large teams and departments.
